충남 청양군이 지난해 고향사랑기부제를 통해 4억 4200만 원을 모금하며, 단순한 기부금 조성에 그치지 않고 이를 지역 발전에 실질적으로 연결시키는 성과를 냈다.
20일 군에 따르면, 해당 기금은 교육·복지·재난 대응 등 지역 현안 해결에 즉시 투입돼 주민이 체감하는 여러 변화를 만들어냈다. 대표적인 성과로는 정산초·중·고 탁구부 국가대표 육성 프로젝트 ,경로당 무상급식 사업 ,호우 피해 복구 긴급 기금 지원 등이 있다.
