대전시교육청은 2026년도 본예산에 총 약 3000억 원 규모의 시설사업 예산을 반영하고, 학생 안전과 학습환경 개선을 위한 체계적인 사업 추진을 본격화한다고 23일 밝혔다.
이를 통해 대전시교육청은 학교 신·증설, 노후 학교시설 개선, 시설물 보강 등이 중점적으로 추진될 예정이다.
이번 시설사업 예산은 학생 수 변화와 지역 여건을 반영한 학교 신·증설 사업과 함께, 노후 학교시설 개선 및 안전 강화를 위한 사업에 집중적으로 편성되었다.
대전시교육청은 2026년 본예산으로 2025년보다 1170억 원 증액된 2조 9141억 원을 편성했으며, 미래교육 추진을 위해 적립한 기금 800억 원을 활용할 계획이다.
