대전광역시교육청이 창의적이고 능동적인 자세로 교육 현장의 난제를 해결한 공무원들을 발굴해 시상했다. 관행을 깨고 실질적인 교육 행정 혁신을 이끌어낸 성과를 격려함으로써 공직 사회 내 ‘적극행정’ 문화를 확산시키겠다는 취지다.
대전시교육청은 3일 시교육청 대강당에서 열린 월례조회에서 ‘적극행정 우수공무원 시상식’을 개최했다.
이번 시상식에서는 교원 1명, 교육전문직 1명, 일반직 4명 등 총 6명이 수상의 영예를 안았다. 성과에 따라 최우수상(2명), 우수상(2명), 장려상(2명)이 각각 수여됐다.
수상자들은 단순한 행정 처리를 넘어 교육 가족이 체감할 수 있는 구체적인 성과를 도출해 높은 평가를 받았다.
수상자들은 학생 주도형 진로 설계를 위해 학생들이 스스로 교육과정을 설계할 수 있는 체험형 애플리케이션(App)을 구축해 진로 지원의 편의성을 높였다.
교육재정 효율화를 통한 안정적인 학생 배치 여건을 조성하는 과정에서 기관 간 협약을 이끌어내 예산을 대폭 절감했다.
또한 교육 공동체 회복을 위해 교직원들의 심리적 치유와 회복을 돕기 위한 통합 거점 시스템을 구축해 안정적인 교육 환경 마련에 기여했다.
대전시교육청은 말뿐인 격려에 그치지 않고 실질적인 보상을 통해 적극행정을 독려할 계획으로,선정된 우수공무원들에게는 성과급 최고 등급 부여와 함께 포상 휴가 등 파격적인 인센티브가 제공된다.
설동호 대전광역시교육감은 이날 시상식에서 “이번 시상은 공무원들이 교육 가족을 위해 능동적으로 움직이는 문화를 정착시키기 위한 이정표”라며 적극행정의 중요성을 강조했다.
이어 “앞으로도 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 창의적이고 도전적으로 일하는 분위기가 대전 교육 현장 전반에 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 우수사례 발굴과 확산을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
