세종특별자치시시설관리공단(이사장 조소연)이 전문기관과의 협력을 통해 발굴한 121건의 안전 취약점을 본격 개선에 나서며, 현장 맞춤형 안전관리 패러다임을 제시하고 있다.
공단은 지난 3일 일환경건강센터·안전환경과학원 등과 함께 추진한 ‘민·관 통합컨설팅’을 종합 마무지며, 고위험 사업장 6곳의 구조적·문화적 안전 강화를 위한 실행 계획을 발표했다. 지난해 11월 시작된 이 컨설팅은 형식적 점검을 넘어 실질적 현장 변화를 목표로 한 것이 핵심으로, 외부 지원금 1,000만 원을 활용해 즉각적인 시설 보강을 실현했다.
대상 사업장에는 조치원공공하수처리시설을 비롯한 하수처리·자원회수·공원시설 등이 포함됐으며, 특히 질식사고 다발 밀폐공간 4곳에 고정형 가스측정기를 도입해 24시간 유해가스 감시망을 완비했다.
은하수공원 장례식장 주방에는 K급 자동소화기를 신규 설치, 기름 화재 초기 진압력을 높였다. 공단 관계자는 “예산 제약 속 민관 파트너십으로 안전 사각을 해소한 성공 모델”이라고 평가했다.
