이날 방문에서는 행정안전부와 기획재정부 등을 차례로 찾아 주요 현안사업의 필요성과 추진 방향을 설명하고, 2027년도 정부예산안 반영을 위한 협조를 요청했다.
행정안전부 균형발전 관련 부서를 방문해 지역 균형발전과 인구소멸 대응을 위한 사업의 당위성을 설명하고 적극적인 지원을 건의했으며, 기획재정부 예산실을 찾아 주요 현안사업의 국비 반영 필요성을 전달했다. 이어 행정안전부 교부세과를 방문해 보통교부세 등 재정 지원과 관련한 지역 여건을 설명하고 협조를 요청했다.
또한 충북세종본부를 방문해 지역 현안에 대한 공감대를 형성하고 중앙부처와의 협력 방안에 대해 논의했다.
군 관계자는 “정부예산 확보를 위해 중앙부처와의 긴밀한 협의가 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “앞으로도 지속적인 방문과 설명을 통해 지역 현안사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
