증평군장애인체육회, 지역 장애인탁구협회에 탁구용품 전달

【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군장애인체육회는 3일 증평생활체육관에서 증평군장애인탁구협회를 대상으로 탁구용품 전달식을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

이번 전달식은 증평군장애인탁구협회 선수들의 훈련 여건 개선과 경기력 향상을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

체육회는 탁구 라켓 등 4종의 용품을 전달하며 선수와 관계자들을 격려했다.

증평군장애인탁구협회는 지난해 7월 25일 인준을 받아 현재 장애인과 비장애인 각 6명씩 총 12명의 회원이 활동하고 있다.

함영근 회장을 중심으로 주 3회 정기훈련을 이어가며 장애인 생활체육 활성화와 지역 내 통합 체육 문화 조성에 힘쓰고 있다.

이재영 회장은 “탁구는 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 소통하며 즐길 수 있는 대표적인 생활체육 종목”이라며 “앞으로도 장애인 체육 활성화와 안정적인 훈련 환경 조성을 위해 지속적인 관심과 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 증평군장애인체육회는 지역 장애인의 체육 참여 기회 확대와 건강 증진을 위해 다양한 종목 지원을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.
