【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북도는 도민 체감형 위주의 사업 지원 및 상반기 추진이 시급한 역점사업 추진을 위해 1,046억원 규모의 제1회 추가경정예산안을 3월 3일 충청북도의회에 제출했다.
이로써 충청북도 예산 총규모는 당초예산(7조 6,703억원)보다 1.4% 증액된 7조 7,749억원으로 일반회계가 6조 9,688억원, 특별회계는 8,061억원이다.
충북도는 재정여건이 어려운 상황이나, 당초예산 편성 시 예측하지 못한 도민 체감형 위주의 사업과 상반기 추진이 시급한 현안사업을 위해, 교육청과 재산이관 수입 및 보조금 등을 활용해 추경 예산을 편성하였다.
금번 추경 편성 주요내용은 청소년 및 청년 지원사업과 도정현안 사업 추진이다.
청년의 다양한 활동 및 사업 지원을 위해 청년기금 조성 50억원, 청소년 스터디카페 이용료 또는 도서구입 등 학습 지원을 위한 청소년 육성기금 전출금 50억원을 신규 편성하고,
3자녀 양육 가정 지원 35억원, 청년 주택자금 대출이자 지원 15억원, 청소년 전용공간 조성 23억원을 신규로 편성하였다.
영유아 및 청소년의 체험․휴식공간 제공을 위해 놀꽃마루 조성․운영 2.7억원을 증액 편성하고, 자연학습원 내 숲생태정원 조성 5억원을 신규 편성하였다.
미래 첨단산업 육성을 위한 KAIST 바이오 스퀘어 구축(리모델링) 16억원, 바이오랩스 오송 구축․운영 20억원, 충북형 AI기업 이전․정착 패키지 지원 2억원을 신규 편성하였다.
또한, 충북형 다목적 돔구장 건립 타당성 조사 용역 2억원, 충북형 스마트팜 보급사업 8.4억원, 쪽파 종구 연중 생산·공급 시범사업 2.5억원을 편성하고,
인구소멸지역 주민의 소득안정 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업 478억원도 신규 편성하였다.
이동옥 충북도 행정부지사는 “금회 추경은 세수여건 악화 등으로 재정여건이 어려운 상황이지만, 도내 청소년과 청년 지원 및 상반기 추진이 필수 불가결한 현안사업에 한하여 최소 규모로 편성되었다”며 “예산안이 확정되면 소중한 재원이 적시적소에 쓰일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
충북도가 제출한 2026년도 제1회 추가경정예산안은 제432회 도의회 임시회에서 상임위원회와 예산결산특별위원회의 심의를 거쳐 3월 20일(금) 본회의 의결을 통해 확정될 예정이다.
