【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북개발공사는 3월 5일 경칩을 맞아 공사 사옥 ‘청명원’과 청주 상당공원 일대에서 플로깅 봉사활동을 실시했다.
이번 활동에는 공사 임직원 50여 명이 자발적으로 참여했으며, 오전 10시부터 약 1시간 동안 청명원과 상당공원 일대를 걸으며 쓰레기를 수거하는 등 환경정화 활동을 펼쳤다.
경칩은 만물이 겨울잠에서 깨어나는 절기로, 예로부터 새싹과 생명을 보호하며 봄 농사를 준비하는 시기로 여겨져 왔다. 공사는 이러한 경칩의 의미를 되새기고 봄맞이 환경 정비와 생활 속 환경보호 실천 문화를 확산하기 위해 이번 플로깅 활동을 추진했다.
