음성군, 관내 새마을금고와 지방보조금 전용계좌 협약 체결

군은 지난 4일 군청 집무실에서 관내 5개 새마을금고(음성·비석·한마음·대동·삼왕)와 ‘지방보조금 전용 계좌 협약’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 조병옥 음성군수를 비롯해 관내 새마을금고 이사장들이 참석했으며, 협약 체결에 따라 음성군 보조사업자는 군 금고인 농협을 포함해 관내 새마을금고에서도 지방보조금 관련 업무를 처리할 수 있게 됐다.

그동안 지방보조금 전용 계좌 개설은 군 금고로 한정돼 일부 보조사업자들이 계좌 개설과 금융기관 이용 과정에서 다소 제약이 있어 왔다.

이에 음성군은 최근 ‘지방보조금 관리기준’의 개정에 따라 군 금고 외의 금융기관에서 음성군 지방보조금 전용계좌 개설 범위를 확대하고, 행정안전부 지침에 근거해 관내 새마을금고와 협약을 추진했다. 

군은 이번 조치로 보조사업자가 원하는 금융기관을 선택해 보조금 계좌를 개설할 수 있어 접근성과 편의성이 향상되고, 보조금 집행에 필요한 업무 처리도 보다 원활해질 것으로 기대하고 있다.
