【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 시민의 일상과 경제활동을 불편하게 만드는 각종 규제를 발굴 ·개선하기 위해 ‘2026년 규제혁신 개선과제 공모전’을 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.
시는 공모전을 통해 행정 중심 관점에서 벗어나 시민이 체감하는 현장 중심의 규제를 직접 발굴하고, 실질적인 개선으로 연결되는 참여형 규제혁신을 목표로 하고 있다.
공모는 △투자·창업·영업 활동을 제약하는 규제 △의료·교육·교통·주거 등 일상생활 불편 규제 △기업·소상공인에게 과도한 부담을 주는 규제 △신산업(수소·바이오·미래모빌리티 등) 관련 규제 등 시민의 경제활동과 일상생활을 저해하는 모든 불합리한 규제를 대상으로 진행한다.
단, 단순민원․조세 등 행정규제기본법상 비규제사항, 규제 강화사항 등은 심사에서 제외된다.
접수는 과제 제안서를 작성해 충주시청 감사담당관을 방문하거나 우편(충주시 으뜸로 21 감사담당관) 또는 전자우편으로 제출하면 된다.
시는 접수된 제안을 대상으로 사전 검토와 실무위원회 심사 및 규제개혁위원회 최종 심사를 거쳐 최우수 1명, 우수 2명, 장려 3명을 선정하고 각각 50만 원, 30만 원, 10만 원의 상금을 지급할 예정이다.

이정인 감사담당관은 “지난해 공모전을 통해 음식물쓰레기 봉투 규격 개선 과제가 실제 제도 개선으로 이어진 바 있다”며 “일상 속 작은 불편 하나의 작은 변화가 제도를 바꾸고 생활의 품격을 높이는 출발점이 될 수 있는 만큼 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 기대한다”고 말했다.
