【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교 국제교류본부는 지난 3월 5일 오후 2시부터 3시까지 「2026학년도 전기 외국인 학위과정 신입생 오리엔테이션」을 개최했다.
이번 오리엔테이션은 외국인 신입생들이 학사제도와 생활 정보를 사전에 숙지하고 안정적으로 대학 생활을 시작할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에는 학부 및 대학원 과정 외국인 신입생 약 90명이 참석했다.
이날 행사에서는 충북대 학사일정과 학칙, 성적 및 장학금 제도, 외국인등록 신청 절차, 체류 관련 출입국 관리 법규 등 유학생들에게 필요한 학사 및 생활 정보를 안내했다.
특히 충북대는 외국인 선배 유학생으로 구성된 ‘Advisor 프로그램’을 운영해 신입생들의 조기 정착과 학업 적응을 돕고 있다. 신입생들은 향후 Advisor를 통해 캠퍼스 투어, 학사시스템(개신누리·eCampus) 사용법 안내, 생활 상담, 한국어 지도 등 다양한 맞춤형 지원을 받을 예정이다.
옥광 국제교류본부장은 “충북대는 다양한 문화와 국적을 지닌 유학생들이 학업과 일상생활에 원활히 적응할 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 제공할 것”이라며 “신입생들이 우리 대학에서 학문적 성장과 함께 한국 사회를 이해하는 소중한 경험을 하기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Chungbuk National University Holds Orientation for International Degree Program New Students for the Spring 2026 Semester
Chungbuk National University's Office of International Affairs held the "2026 Spring 2026 International Degree Program New Students Orientation" from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on March 5th.
