【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 지역연계 유치원 교육과정·방과후과정 모델의 현장 적용을 지원하고 기관 간 협력체계를 강화하기 위해 11일(수), <2026. 지역연계 유치원 교육과정·방과후과정 모델 현장 적용 협의회>를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
지역기반형 유아교육·보육 혁신지원사업은 본격적인 유보통합 추진을 앞두고 우수한 교육·돌봄 모델을 발굴하고 <교육청-지자체-대학> 협력을 기반으로 지역 여건에 맞는 혁신적인 교육·돌봄 체계를 구축하기 위해 추진되는 사업이다.
이번 협의회는 유아교육과 보육의 질을 함께 높이기 위한 지역 기반 협력 모델을 논의하고 사업 추진 방향을 공유하기 위해 마련됐으며, 충북교육청·충북도청·서원대학교가 참여해 기관별 역할을 바탕으로 현장 중심 지원 방안을 협의했다.
특히 충북교육청은 공교육 기반 유아교육의 내실화를 중심으로 지역 안에서 성장하는 충북형 교육과정을 운영하고, 충북도청은 지역 돌봄·보육 연계 기반을 강화하며, 서원대학교는 전문성과 인적·물적 지원을 통해 현장 맞춤형 프로그램 운영을 지원하기로 했다.
아울러 ▲현장 맞춤형 자율선택과제 운영 ▲온마을배움터와 연계한 공동교육과정 ▲누리과정 컨설팅 지원 ▲아이성장 튜터 사업 운영 ▲충북형 늘봄 연계 방과후 과정 운영 등 지역과 연계한 교육과정 및 방과후 과정 모델을 단계적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
충북교육청은 앞으로 충북도청, 서원대학교와 실무 협력체계를 지속적으로 운영하고 사업 추진 과정에서 나타나는 성과와 개선점을 공유·확산해 충북형 유아교육·보육 혁신 모델이 안정적으로 현장에 정착될 수 있도록 추진할 방침이다.
홍승표 유초등교육과장은 “이번 협의회를 통해 교육청·지자체·대학이 같은 목표를 공유하고 협력 방향을 구체화했다.”라며 “지역의 힘을 모아 현장에 실질적인 도움이 되는 지원을 강화하고 유아교육·보육 혁신이 현장에서 체감될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
