김영기 경기도의원, 안군의친환경농업인연합회 감사패 수상

경기도의회 교육행정위원회 소속 김영기 의원(국민의힘, 의왕1)이 친환경 농업인의 생존권 보호와 학생들의 안전한 먹거리 환경 조성에 기여한 공로로 감사패를 받았다.

김영기 의원은 지난 3월 12일 안양군포의왕친환경농업인연합회(이하 안군의친환경농업인연합회)로부터 감사패를 수상했다. 이번 감사패는 경기도교육청의 학교급식 식재료 구매 제도 개선 방침과 관련해 현장의 목소리를 전달하고 정책 혼란을 최소화하는 데 기여한 점을 인정받은 데 따른 것이다.

이에 김영기 의원은 교육청과 농업인 간 간담회를 통해 현장 의견을 전달하고, 해당 방안이 학교 자율성을 제한하고 친환경 급식 운영에 혼선을 줄 수 있다는 점을 지적하며 재검토를 요구했다. 이후 경기도교육청은 관련 방침을 보류했다.

안군의친환경농업인연합회 관계자는 “김영기 의원은 농업인의 생존권과 아이들의 건강권이 맞닿아 있는 문제에서 가장 먼저 목소리를 냈다”며 “제도 개선안의 한계를 짚고 실질적인 정책 변화를 이끌어낸 데 감사드린다”고 밝혔다.
