【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=대한노인회 옥천군지회는 20일 옥천군지회 회의실에서 ‘2026년 노인자원봉사활성화지원사업 발대식 및 참여자 필수교육’을 실시했다. 이날 행사에는 8개 봉사단 소속 회원 160명이 참석했다.

옥천군은 올해 4월부터 11월까지(혹서기 8월 제외) 7개월간 매월 1회 이상, 1시간 이상의 자원봉사활동을 진행할 계획이다.
이날 교육에서는 충북연합회 노인자원봉사센터 홍기운 센터장이 ‘노인자원봉사 활성화 지원사업 안내 및 주요 사업계획’을 비롯해 자원봉사자의 역할, 기본 소양, 윤리, 안전교육 등을 주제로 강의했다. 참여자들은 이를 통해 봉사활동에 필요한 자세와 역량을 강화하는 시간을 가졌다.
유동빈 지회장은 “봉사자들이 서로 소통하며 사회에 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어가는 중요한 활동으로 자리매김하길 바란다”며 “안전하고 건강한 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회를 위해 힘써주시기를 바란다”고 당부했다.
