김옥순 경기도의원, 내손초 급식실 점검…환기설비 개선 필요성 강조

경기도의회 도시환경위원회 소속 김옥순 의원(더불어민주당, 비례대표)이 의왕 내손초등학교를 방문해 급식실 운영 실태를 점검하고 환기설비 개선 필요성을 강조했다.

김옥순 의원이 지난 3월 18일 내손초를 찾아 급식실 내 환기설비 가동 상태와 환기 여건, 조리공정별 열 발생 구간 등을 점검하고 종사자들과 면담을 통해 근무 여건과 애로사항을 청취했다.

이번 현장 점검은 ‘학교 급식실 환기설비 개선 TF’ 활동의 일환으로 추진됐다. 해당 TF는 도의원과 외부 전문가, 경기도교육청 관계자 등이 참여해 급식실 환경 실태조사와 환기설비 개선 기준 마련 등을 진행하고 있다.

김 의원은 “급식실은 하루 수백 명의 학생 식사를 담당하는 공간인 만큼 종사자의 작업환경 개선이 중요하다”며 “학교별 구조와 조리 방식, 인력 규모 등을 종합적으로 고려한 맞춤형 환기설비 개선이 필요하다”고 밝혔다.

이어 “현장에서 제기된 의견이 실제 개선으로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적으로 점검하고, 실효성 있는 대책 마련에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
