충남 아산시가 어르신 중심의 생활체육 수요에 맞춰 ‘파크골프 도시’ 도약을 선언하고, 파크골프장 인프라 확충에 속도를 내고 있다.
아산시는 현재 이순신파크골프장(36홀), 곡교천파크골프장(18홀), 둔포파크골프장(9홀), 도고파크골프장(18홀) 등 4개소, 총 81홀 규모의 파크골프장을 운영 중이며, 2028년까지 모두 8개소로 두 배 확대할 계획이다.
아산시는 권역별 수요를 반영한 배치로 시민들이 거주지 인근에서 쉽게 운동할 수 있도록 접근성을 높이겠다는 구상이다.

인주일반산업단지와 아산제2테크노밸리 산업단지 내 근린공원을 활용한 9홀 파크골프장 2곳도 각각 약 12억 원을 들여 조성되고 있다. 이들 구장은 직장인과 인근 주민의 생활체육 수요를 흡수하는 역할을 하며, 2026년 안에 공사를 마무리하는 것이 목표다.
아산시는 신규 조성과 더불어 유휴 부지를 활용한 추가 2개소 확보 방안도 검토 중이다.
