용인특례시, ‘제2회 보훈가족 음악회’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시는 23일 보훈가족 간 교류와 화합을 위한 제2회 보훈가족과 함께해 봄 음악회를 개최했다.

행사에는 이상일 시장과 보훈단체장 및 보훈가족 등 200여 명이 참석했으며 고 이건용 씨의 유가족에게 무공훈장을 전수하고 보훈회관 전시실 조성 기여자에게 감사패를 전달하는 시간이 마련됐다.

이상일 시장은 축사를 통해 선열들의 희생과 헌신을 계승하는 보훈 정신의 중요성을 강조하며 보훈회관이 보훈의 가치를 알리는 거점으로 발전하기를 기대한다고 밝혔다. 이어진 음악회에서는 성악과 마술 및 가야금 연주 등 다채로운 공연이 펼쳐졌으며 이 시장은 참석자들의 요청에 따라 가곡과 아리아를 열창해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

시는 지난해 신축한 보훈회관을 복합 문화 복지 공간으로 발전시킬 계획이며 오는 5월부터는 보훈단체 회원을 대상으로 노래교실과 식사를 제공하는 복지지원 사업도 새롭게 추진할 방침이다.
