【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군청소년상담복지센터는 지난 23일 지역 또래상담자를 대상으로‘증평또래상담자연합회 8기 발대식 및 리더교육’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 또래상담자들의 공식 출범을 알리고, 또래상담자로서의 역할과 책임을 다짐하는 자리로 마련됐다.
이날 발대식에서는 또래상담자 임원 26명에게 임명장이 수여됐으며, 또래상담의 의미와 중요성을 이해하는 리더교육이 진행됐다.
아울러 또래상담자 간 친밀감 형성을 위한 참여형 프로그램도 함께 운영됐다.
발대식을 시작으로 또래상담자들은 △연합회 정기모임 및 보수교육 △또래상담자 청소년박람회‘공감투어’ △청소년 폭력 예방 캠페인 활동 등 다양한 활동에 참여하며 지역 청소년들의 건강한 성장과 관계 형성을 돕는 역할을 맡게 된다.
윤은미 센터장은 “이번 행사가 또래상담자들의 역량을 강화하고 또래 간 공감과 배려 문화를 확산하는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들이 건강한 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 증평군청소년상담복지센터는 심리상담과 정서지원, 또래상담 활성화, 맞춤형 교육프로그램 운영 등 다양한 청소년 지원 사업을 통해 지역 청소년들의 건강한 성장을 돕고 있다.
