충남 홍성군이 직장인의 혈관 건강을 지키기 위해 발 벗고 나섰다.
홍성군은 지난 해 높은 만족도를 기록한 ‘찾아가는 직장 건강관리 서비스’를 올해도 확대 시행하며, 근로자 스스로 건강을 관리할 수 있는 ‘밀착형 케어 프로그램’을 운영한다.
홍성군보건소 건강생활지원센터는 홍북읍 일대 사업장을 대상으로 하는 ‘2026년 건강한 직장만들기’ 사업을 오는 11월까지 진행한다.
전문 인력 4명이 직접 사업장을 방문해 혈압·혈당·콜레스테롤 측정, 음주위험체질 검사, 우울척도(PHQ-9) 평가, 체성분 분석, 구강보건교육 등 다양한 검진과 상담을 동시에 제공한다.
검사 결과에 따라 개인별 운동 처방과 생활습관 개선 상담도 병행한다.
올해는 특히 근로자의 ‘자기 혈압 수치 인식률’ 향상을 주요 목표로 삼았다. 단순히 검사 결과를 전달하는 데 그치지 않고, 근로자가 스스로 자신의 수치를 이해하고 정상 범위와 비교할 수 있도록 해 자발적인 건강관리를 유도하는 방식이다. 군은 이를 통해 만성질환의 조기 예방 효과를 기대하고 있다.
지난해 참여자 219명을 대상으로 한 만족도 조사에서는 100%가 ‘만족 이상’으로 응답했으며, 80%는 “건강관리의 중요성을 새롭게 느꼈다”고 답해 사업의 실효성을 입증했다.
정영림 홍성군보건소장은 “이번 사업이 바쁜 직장인들이 자신의 혈관 건강을 점검하고 스스로 관리 습관을 기르는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “직장인을 위한 맞춤형 예방 서비스 범위를 지속적으로 넓혀 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
올해 ‘건강한 직장만들기’ 사업에는 농협중앙회 충남본부, 내포119안전센터, ㈜은성전장, 한국농어촌공사 충남본부, ㈜오디하이텍, 내포스마트도시 통합운영센터 등 6개 기관이 참여한다.

Hongseong County in South Chungcheong Province has stepped up to protect the vascular health of its office workers.
Hongseong County is expanding the ‘Visiting Workplace Health Management Service,’ which recorded high satisfaction last year, and is operating a ‘close-knit care program’ that enables employees to manage their own health.
The Health Lifestyle Support Center at the Hongseong County Public Health Center is conducting the ‘Creating a Healthy Workplace 2026’ project until this November, targeting workplaces in the Hongbuk-eup area.
Four professional staff members visit workplaces in person to provide a variety of screenings and counseling simultaneously. These include blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol measurements; alcohol risk assessments; depression scale (PHQ-9) evaluations; body composition analysis; and oral health education.
