더불어민주당 소속으로 대전시장 선거에 출사표를 던진 허태정 전 대전시장이 당내 경선을 위한 후보등록을 마치고 본선 진출을 위한 득표전에 돌입했다.
현재 민주당 대전시장 경선은 허태정 전 시장을 비롯해 장종태(서구갑), 장철민(동구) 국회의원 등 3자 구도로 치러진다.
허 전 시장은 26일 경선 후보 등록을 마친 뒤 대전시의회 기자실을 방문한 자리에서 선출직의 본분과 시민과의 약속을 거듭 역설했다.
