【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 30일 오후 1시 30분, <옥천공동체허브 누구나>에서 지역 학부모 30여 명과 함께 대입 진학 간담회를 개최했다.
이번 간담회는 농촌 맞춤형 대입 경쟁력 강화 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐으며, 옥천 청산고등학교가 개교 70년 만에 서울대학교 합격생을 배출하고 졸업생 대부분이 희망 대학에 진학하는 성과를 거두며 지역 교육의 가능성이 주목받는 상황에서 추진됐다.
간담회에서는 △대입 전형 변화에 따른 대응 전략 △농촌 맞춤형 진학 지원 방안 △학교–지자체–교육청 협력 강화 방안 등을 중심으로 다양한 의견이 오갔다. 이와 함께 학부모 대상 진학 정보 제공 확대 방안 등도 함께 논의됐다.
충청북도교육청은 <1교 1진학 대표교사>와 <대입지원단>을 중심으로 지역별·학교별 맞춤형 진로·진학지도를 운영하고 있으며, 현장 의견을 반영해 지원 체계를 지속적으로 보완해 나갈 계획이다.
한편, 이날 간담회에는 충청북도의회 유재목 부의장과 옥천군 곽명영 행복교육과장 등 관계자도 함께 참석했다.
윤건영 교육감은 “교육은 지역의 미래를 결정짓는 가장 중요한 요소”라며 “현장의 목소리를 적극 반영해 옥천 지역 학생들의 진학 경쟁력을 높일 수 있도록 학부모가 체감할 수 있는 정책을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다.”라고 말했다.
