한국공인탐정협회가 탐정 산업의 전문성 강화와 조직 활성화를 위한 본격적인 전략 행보에 나섰다.
협회는 30일, 대한민국공인탐정협회와 함께 PIA 지부·지회 관계자, 회원사 및 정회원 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘탐정 산업 발전 및 조직 활성화를 위한 전략 간담회’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 간담회에는 하금석 회장을 비롯해 국내 수사 및 탐정 분야의 권위자로 꼽히는 대한공인탐정연구원 백기종 원장, 박철현 전남지부장, 강정석 총괄이사 등 협회 주요 인사와 산업 전문가들이 대거 참석해 탐정 산업의 미래 발전 방향을 모색했다.
참석자들은 급변하는 디지털 환경 속에서 탐정 업무의 경쟁력을 높이기 위한 다양한 방안을 집중 논의했다.

특히 모바일 디지털 보안솔루션과 포렌식 서비스 연계, 전국 단위 네트워크 강화, 마케팅 전략 고도화, 전문직업인 배상책임보험 도입, 국제 협력 체계 구축 등 실질적인 개선 과제가 핵심 의제로 다뤄졌다.
이 가운데 모바일 디지털 포렌식 기술을 활용한 사건 분석 역량 강화는 탐정 업무의 정확성과 신뢰성을 동시에 높일 수 있는 중요한 대안으로 주목받았다.
디지털 기반 수사 환경이 확대되는 상황에서 관련 기술 확보가 산업 경쟁력의 핵심 요소로 떠오르고 있다는 평가다.
협회는 또한 ‘PIA 전문직업인 배상책임보험’을 도입해 의뢰인 보호 장치를 강화하고, 탐정 서비스에 대한 사회적 신뢰도를 높인다는 방침이다.
더불어 해외 기관과의 협력 확대를 통해 국제 사건 대응 역량을 강화하고, 국내 탐정 산업의 글로벌 표준화를 추진할 계획이다.
하금석 회장은 “이번 간담회는 탐정 산업의 체계적인 성장 기반을 마련하고 회원 간 결속을 강화하는 중요한 전환점”이라며 “지속적인 교육과 제도적 지원을 통해 대한민국 탐정 산업의 선진화를 이끌어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
