【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 군민에게 정확한 위치 정보를 제공하고 각종 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 ‘2026년 주소 정보 시설 일제 조사’를 진행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 관내에 설치된 건물번호판, 도로명판, 기초번호판, 사물 주소판 등 주소 정보 시설 전반을 대상으로 진행되며, 스마트 주소정보관리시스템를 활용한 현장 전수조사 방식으로 추진된다.
군은 조사 과정에서 시설물의 훼손, 망실 여부, 장애물로 인한 시인성 저해 여부, 설치 위치, 표기 내용의 적정성 등을 중점적으로 점검할 계획이다.
특히 도로 이용자와 보행자의 안전 확보를 위해 시야를 가리거나 기능이 저하된 시설물에 대해서는 현장 중심의 점검을 강화하고, 문제 사항을 신속히 파악해 대응할 방침이다.
조사 결과를 바탕으로 훼손되거나 표기가 잘못된 시설물은 교체, 보수를 실시하고, 안전을 저해하는 시설물은 즉시 철거하는 등 체계적인 정비를 추진할 계획이다.
아울러 조사 과정에서 수렴된 주민 의견도 반영해 더 실효성 있는 주소 정보 체계를 구축해 나갈 예정이다.
