정 예비후보는 주민이 직접 정책 기획에 참여하는 ‘문화 배심원’ 제도 도입과 함께, 공공 유휴시설을 상시 개방하는 등 생활 속에서 쉽게 문화를 접할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다는 공약을 내세웠다.

지역 상권과 연계한 문화 콘텐츠 활성화 방안도 내놓았다. 동대구역 광장을 활용한 ‘문화 마켓파크’ 조성, 신서혁신도시 유휴공간의 ‘개방형 문화 아지트’ 전환, 불로동의 전통주 체험관 운영, 막걸리 축제 브랜드화 등이 주요 내용이다. 청년과 소상공인의 적극적 참여를 이끌어내겠다는 계획도 밝혔다.
정 예비후보는 “기존 개발 중심 정책에 더해 주민이 실제로 체감할 수 있는 문화 정책을 강화해 삶의 질과 지역 경제를 함께 높이겠다”고 말했다.
