군은 전국 9개 혁신도시가 위치한 11개 지역 시군구 혁신도시 담당 부서장으로 구성된 전국혁신도시(지구)협의회의 실무협의회를 9일 음성명작관에서 열었다고 밝혔다.
이번 회의에는 전국혁신도시협의회 회장 도시인 음성군을 비롯해 강원 원주, 대구 동구, 울산 중구, 경북 김천, 경남 진주, 충북 진천, 전북 완주·전주, 전남 나주, 제주 서귀포 등 담당 부서장과 실무자 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
주요 안건으로는 기존 혁신도시로 공공기관 2차 이전을 위한 대응 방안과 혁신도시 정주여건 개선을 위한 대정부 공동 건의사항 발굴이 다뤄졌으며, 각 회원 도시는 이를 바탕으로 협력 방안을 심도 있게 논의하고 우수정책 사례를 함께 나눴다.

한편 전국혁신도시(지구)협의회는 지난 2006년 설립돼 혁신도시 지역 11개 기초자치단체가 혁신도시의 성공적 건설과 활성화 등을 위해 긴밀한 공조를 이어 나가고 있다.
