이번 행사는 장애인을 위한 단순 기념행사를 넘어, 장애인과 지역주민이 함께 어울리며 상호 이해와 공감을 나누는 지역사회 통합의 장으로 마련됐다.
복지관은 4월 한 달간 총 세 차례 나들이 프로그램을 진행한다. 15일에는 재가장애인 30명이 충남 태안을 방문해 봄꽃 나들이를 즐기며 정서적 활력을 도모하고, 24일에는 활동지원사업 이용자와 활동지원사 40명이 함께 여가 나들이를 통해 문화활동 참여 기회를 넓힌다. 29일에는 평생교육 프로그램 참여자 60명이 전남 담양을 찾아 딜라이트 담양 관람과 메타세쿼이아길 산책을 진행할 예정이다.
같은 날인 15일에는 복지관 직원 봉사동아리 ‘장복애’ 회원들과 장애인 당사자가 함께 삼양로 일대에서 줍깅 봉사활동을 펼쳐 환경 보호와 나눔 실천에 나선다.
장애인의 날인 21일에는 대표 행사 ‘장날애(장애인과 어울리는 날애)’가 복지관 주차장과 강당에서 개최된다.
행사 1부에서는 주차장에서 생활용품 리퍼브 바자회, 미디어 체험존, 콩나물 판매, ESG 분리배출 체험 등 다양한 체험부스가 운영되며, 느린학습자 이해 및 AAC(보완대체의사소통) 인식개선 캠페인도 함께 진행된다. 또한 행복애 식당에서는 무료 급식이 제공될 예정이다.
이어 2부에서는 오후 1시부터 장애인식개선 작품공모전 시상식이 열리고, 장애인과 지역주민이 함께 참여하는 노래·춤·연주 등 장기자랑 무대가 이어진다.
22일에는 복지관 마당에서 리퍼브 바자회가 추가로 열리며, 수익금 전액은 지역 내 소외계층 지원을 위한 후원금으로 사용될 계획이다.
아울러 16일부터 30일까지 복지관 1층부터 5층까지 장애인식개선 작품공모전 수상작 전시가 진행되어 방문객 누구나 자유롭게 관람할 수 있다.
