충남도가 한국도로공사와 함께 관내 직업계고 3학년 학생들을 대상으로 ‘드론 교육 프로그램’을 본격 운영한다고 15일 전했다.
이번 사업은 체험이 아닌 실무형 기술 인재 양성과 학생들의 취업 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 마련된 민·관·공 협력 모델이다.
도와 한국도로공사가 운영 관련 예산을 공동 분담하는 이번 프로그램은 이론부터 실습 그리고 자격증 취득까지 원스톱으로 지원하는 것이 특징이다.
특히 ‘1종 드론 조종 자격’ 취득에 초점이 맞춰져 있어 향후 현장 활용도 또한 높을 것으로 전망된다.
참여 학생들은 기초 이론과 비행 안전 수칙은 물론이고, 고난도 장비 운용 실습및 산업 현장 적용 사례 등 심화 과정도 이수하게 된다.
전문 강사진이 투입되어 실습 중심의 집중 교육을 진행함으로써, 학생들이 수료 후 즉시 현장에 투입될 수 있는 실무 역량을 갖추도록 돕는다는 구상이다.
무엇보다 도로 유지관리와 시설물 안전 점검 등 실제 현장에서 광범위하게 드론을 활용하고 있는 한국도로공사의 노하우가 교육 과정에 고스란히 녹아들 예정이다.
이번 사업은 기관별 역할 분담을 통해 프로그램의 완성도를 높였다.
충남도는 정책 수립과 예산을 지원하고, 한국도로공사는 실무 중심의 교육 인프라를 제공한다.
각 직업계고등학교는 잠재력 있는 학생 선발부터 수료 후 구직 및 취업 연계까지 책임지는 밀착 지원형 구조를 갖췄다.
