교육청·도로공사와 ‘EX-드론 아카데미’ 협약…
자격 취득부터 취업까지 일괄 지원
대전광역시가 미래 산업의 핵심인 드론 분야를 이끌어갈 전문 인력 양성을 위해 지역 교육계 및 공공기관과 손을 잡았다.
대전시는 15일 대전광역시교육청, 한국도로공사 대전충남본부와 업무협약을 맺고, 직업계고 학생들을 위한 드론 전문 교육 프로그램인 ‘EX-드론 아카데미’를 본격 가동한다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 단순한 이론 교육이나 자격증 취득에 그치지 않고, 산업 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 실무 역량을 갖춘 인재를 배출하기 위해 마련됐다. 각 기관은 보유한 전문 인프라를 공유하며 드론 인재 양성의 전 과정을 통합 지원할 계획이다.
협약에 따라 드론 분야 진로를 희망하는 직업계고 학생들을 선발하여 전문 자격 취득 과정을 지원한다. 특히 한국도로공사는 공사가 보유한 첨단 시설과 장비를 교육 현장으로 개방해 학생들이 실제 현장과 유사한 환경에서 드론 운용 기술을 익힐 수 있도록 돕는다.
대전시는 학생들이 교육 이수 후 안정적으로 사회에 진출할 수 있도록 ‘청년성장프로젝트’ 등 기존 청년 정책과 연계한 맞춤형 고용 서비스를 제공한다. 구체적으로는 개별 진로 설계 ,고용 정책 연계 ,우수 구인 기업 알선 등 취업의 전 과정을 세밀하게 지원할 방침이다.
이번 프로젝트를 통해 학생들은 졸업 전 전문 자격과 풍부한 현장 경험을 동시에 갖춘 준비된 인재로 성장하게 된다.
