대전·세종 성별영향평가센터가 지역 내 공공기관 실무자들의 전문성 향상을 위해 팔을 걷어붙였다.
대전시사회서비스원 소속 대전·세종 성별영향평가센터는 16일 대전시 및 5개 자치구, 대전·세종시 교육청 등 총 9개 기관의 성별영향평가 담당자 20명을 대상으로 실무 역량 강화 교육을 진행했다.
이번 교육은 지자체와 교육청 담당자들이 제도를 정확히 이해하고 현장에서 원활하게 업무를 수행할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 마련됐다.
교육은 실무 중심의 2개 세션으로 구성됐다. 1부에서는 ‘성별영향평가 제도의 이해’를 주제로 제도의 핵심 개념과 단계별 추진 절차를 심도 있게 다뤘다. 이어 2부에서는 ‘성별영향평가시스템 활용법’에 초점을 맞춰, 온라인 플랫폼을 활용한 실제 업무 처리 과정을 상세히 안내해 실무자들의 이해도를 높였다.
센터 측은 이번 교육이 담당 공무원들의 실무 역량 강화를 통해 지역 정책 전반의 성평등 가치를 내재화하고, 행정의 효율성을 제고하는 계기가 될 것으로 내다봤다.
대전·세종 성별영향평가센터는 지역 내 전문기관으로서 정책 컨설팅 지원, 우수사례 발굴, 성평등 정책 연구 등 양성평등 사회 구현을 위한 다양한 사업을 전개하고 있다.
