대전관광공사가 최근 대전 대덕구에서 발생한 대형 화재로 실의에 빠진 피해자들을 돕기 위해 온정의 손길을 내밀었다.
대전관광공사는 16일 대덕구 문평동 소재 자동차 부품공장 화재 사고의 피해 지원을 위해 임직원들이 자발적으로 모금한 성금 170만 원을 대한적십자사에 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이번 성금은 지역 내 공공기관으로서 예기치 못한 참사로 고통받는 이웃의 아픔을 분담하고 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 공사 임직원들이 긴급히 마음을 모아 마련했다.
기탁된 성금은 대한적십자사를 통해 화재 피해자와 그 가족들의 생활 안정 및 원활한 일상 회복을 돕는 데 사용될 예정이다.
대전관광공사 관계자는 “갑작스러운 화재로 큰 피해를 입은 분들에게 깊은 위로의 말씀을 전한다”며 “공사 임직원들의 작은 정성이 피해 가족들이 다시 일어서는 데 조금이나마 보탬이 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
