충남 당진시가 스마트농업 인재 육성과 예비 창업농의 안정적인 정착을 돕기 위한 ‘2026 스마트팜 창업 실습교육’의 첫발을 뗐다.
당진시는 지난 16일 스마트팜사관학교에서 제1기 교육생들을 대상으로 현장 실습 중심의 창업 교육을 본격적으로 시작했다고 17일 밝혔다. 이번 교육은 이론을 넘어 실제 스마트팜 운영 역량을 갖춘 실무형 인재를 양성하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육 첫날인 16일에는 스마트팜의 첨단 재배 환경에 대한 이해도를 높이고 안전사고를 예방하기 위한 사전 오리엔테이션이 진행됐다.
당진시에 따르면 교육생들은 실습 시 반드시 지켜야 할 안전 수칙과 준수 사항을 숙지하는 한편, 정보통신기술(ICT)이 접목된 환경제어 시스템과 주요 설비의 구조를 면밀히 살피며 운영 원리를 파악했다.
특히 이번 교육 과정은 작물별 특성을 폭넓게 경험할 수 있도록 구성된 점이 특징이다. 실습은 토마토, 딸기, 엽채류 3개 분야로 나뉘어 진행되며, 6명씩 구성된 조별 인원이 각 작목을 순환하는 '로테이션 방식'으로 운영된다.
이를 통해 교육생들은 품종별 재배 환경의 차이와 관리 노하우를 직접 몸소 체험하며 스마트팜 경영에 필요한 실질적인 현장 대응 능력을 키우게 된다.
