교단에 선 지 이제 막 두 달, 설렘과 막막함이 교차하는 새내기 체육 교사들을 위해 충남교육청이 든든한 ‘셰르파’로 나섰다.
충남교육청은 16일부터 17일까지 이틀간 천안 일원에서 올해 신규 임용된 체육 교사들을 대상으로 학교체육 전반에 대한 실무 역량을 강화하는 ‘배움자리’를 운영했다고 밝혔다.
이번 연수는 신규 교사들이 현장에서 직접 몸으로 부딪치며 느낀 궁금증을 해소하고, 체육 교육의 핵심 가치와 교사로서의 책임감을 공유하는 소통의 장으로 기획됐다.
특히 풍부한 현장 경험을 갖춘 베테랑 선배 교사들이 강사로 나서 이론이 아닌 ‘진짜 학교 이야기’를 들려줌으로써 전문성 신장에 실질적인 도움을 주었다.
연수 과정은 신규 교사들이 가장 어려움을 겪는 실무 위주로 촘촘하게 구성됐다.
단순한 이론 전달을 넘어 실제 학교 현장에서 즉시 적용 가능한 사례들이 주를 이뤘다.
주요 프로그램은 '교직 이해와 생활교육, 체육 수업 운영의 실제, 학교운동부 운영 및 관리, 학교체육 활성화 방안(교육과정 내·외), 전문 실기 지도 방법 및 실습, 교직 실무(에듀파인 시스템 및 공문서 작성), 선배 교사와의 대화' 등으로 진행됐다.
