【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 어울아트센터가 배리어프리 기획전시 '확장의 세계'를 개최한다.
5월 4일부터 6월 13일까지 갤러리 금호와 명봉에서 열리는 전시에는 발달장애 예술인 김현우와 라이브드로잉 작가 임이삭이 참여해, 촉각·청각·신체적 경험을 결합한 오감형 전시를 선보인다.
전시는 기존의 시각 중심 관람 방식에서 벗어나, 손으로 만지고 소리를 듣고 몸으로 직접 체험하는 예술 경험을 제안한다.
갤러리 금호에서는 김현우의 회화·설치 작품과 임이삭의 회화가 전시된다. 일부 작품은 관람객이 함께 참여할 수 있도록 마련됐으며, 3D 프린팅을 활용한 촉각 감상용 작품도 함께 배치돼 평면 이미지를 입체적으로 느낄 수 있다.
갤러리 명봉에서는 포스아트(PosART) 기술이 적용된 촉각 전시가 이뤄진다. UV 프린팅과 양각·음각 기법을 통해 작품의 질감을 손끝으로 따라가며 감상할 수 있어, 시각장애인을 비롯한 다양한 관람객의 접근성이 한층 높아졌다.
전시장에는 점자 캡션, 수어 영상, 음성 가이드, 쉬운 글 안내 등 다양한 배리어프리 요소가 적용됐다. 또한 휠체어 이용자와 어린이 관람객을 고려해 설치 높이를 낮추고, 참여형 구조를 도입해 관람 장벽을 최소화했다.
연계 프로그램도 풍성하게 마련됐다. 감각 확장 체험 프로그램과 픽셀 퍼즐 게임, 손으로 만드는 창작 워크숍이 운영되며, 도서관과 협업해 배리어프리 웹툰과 오디오북 콘텐츠도 제공된다.
오프닝 프로그램 ‘크로스아트: 소리로 그리는 세계’는 5월 6일 오후 2시 갤러리 금호에서 열린다.
박정숙 대표이사는 “누구나 자신만의 방식으로 예술을 느끼고 참여할 수 있는 환경을 앞으로도 넓혀가겠다”고 말했다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation's Eoul Art Center is hosting the barrier-free special exhibition "The World of Expansion."
The exhibition, held at Galleries Geumho and Myeongbong from May 4 to June 13, features artists with developmental disabilities Kim Hyun-woo and live drawing artist Im Isak, presenting a multi-sensory exhibition that combines tactile, auditory, and physical experiences.
Moving away from traditional visual viewing methods, the exhibition proposes an artistic experience where visitors can touch with their hands, listen to sounds, and physically engage with the artwork.
At Gallery Geumho, paintings and installation works by Kim Hyun-woo and paintings by Im Isak will be on display. Some works are designed for visitor participation, and tactile pieces utilizing 3D printing are also on display, allowing viewers to perceive flat images in three dimensions.
At Gallery Myeongbong, a tactile exhibition utilizing PosART technology will take place. Through UV printing and embossing/intaglio techniques, visitors can trace the textures of the artworks with their fingertips, significantly enhancing accessibility for diverse audiences, including the visually impaired.
The exhibition space features various barrier-free elements, such as Braille captions, sign language videos, audio guides, and easy-to-read text instructions. Additionally, viewing barriers have been minimized by lowering installation heights and introducing interactive structures to accommodate wheelchair users and child visitors.
A rich array of related programs has also been prepared. Sensory expansion experience programs, pixel puzzle games, and hands-on creative workshops will be offered, and barrier-free webtoons and audiobook content will be provided in collaboration with libraries.
The opening program, "Cross Art: A World Painted with Sound," will be held at Gallery Kumho on May 6 at 2:00 PM.
CEO Park Jung-sook stated, "We will continue to expand an environment where anyone can experience and participate in art in their own unique way."
