이번에 조기 지급되는 대금은 오는 28일과 2월 10일, 15일 정산분으로 이를 최대 19일 앞당겨 설 연휴 전인 27일에 지급할 계획이다.
먼저 이마트는 총 1100억 원에 달하는 납품대금을 조기 지급한다. 이마트는 “협력업체들이 명절 때 상여금과 임금, 원자재대금 등 자금 소요가 많이 발생하는 것에 착안해 중소 협력회사와의 상생을 위해 오래전부터 명절에 앞서 상품대금의 조기 지급을 시행해 왔다”며 “2008년부터는 중소 협력회사의 납품대금을 100% 현금으로 결제해 협력업체의 원활한 자금 조달을 돕고 있다”고 전했다.
신세계백화점은 2300여 개 협력업체에 약 500억 원의 납품대금을 앞당겨 지급할 계획이다. 이번 설 대금 지급 예정일은 다음 달 10일이지만 14일 앞당겨 설 연휴 전인 27일에 지급하기로 한 것으로, 이를 통해 중소업체들의 유동성 확보 및 자금 운용에 도움을 준다는 계획이다.
