영진전문대학교(총장 최재영) 인테리어디자인과가 ‘제9회 대학생 전시디자인 공모전’ 시상식에서 상을 휩쓸며 최고 실력을 입증했다.
25일 ‘서울전시산업진흥회’사무국서 열린‘제9회 대학생 전시디자인 공모전’에서 영진전문대 인테리어디자인과가 대상인 산업통상자원부 장관상을 비롯해 최우수상, 특별상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이루었다.

한국전시산업진흥원, 한국전시디자인설치협회가 매년 주최하고, 산업통상자원부가 후원하는‘대학생 전시디자인 공모전’은 전국 2.4년제 대학생이 참여하는 국내 유일의 전시디자인 대회로 청년들의 참신한 전시디자인 아이디어를 발굴, 국내 전시산업 발전과 활성화를 도모하고, 나아가 전시디자인 분야 전문 인력을 육성하고자 실시되고 있다.
올해 공모전은 코로나상황 상황을 반영해 ‘스마트 언택트 부스’주제 아래, 기존 대회 발표방식 ‘파워포인트(Power Point) 발표 부문’과 올해 새롭게 제안된 ‘전시체험 시뮬레이션 동영상 부문’으로 공모, 예선 심사를 거친 각 부문 4개 팀이 본선에서 경합을 벌였다.
본선에 오른 영진전문대학교 리틀포레스트팀(장지민, 이준익, 인테리어디자인과 2년)은 ‘나노드론(Nanodron)과 함께 하는 가장 완벽한 산책!’작품으로 10분간 발표, 10분간 질의응답을 통해 대상(산업통상자원부 장관상) 의 영예를 차지했다.
인테리어디자인과는 이 공모전 4회 때부터 참여해 올해 9회까지 단 한 차례를 제외한, 5차례에 걸쳐 대상 수상이라는 대기록을 세웠다.
또 이번 대회‘전시체험 시뮬레이션 동영상 분문’최우수상(한국전시산업진흥회장상)에 오호라팀(김가영, 정수민, 2년)이 ‘카바스Cabasse, 심연에서 들려오는 신비로운 소리!’작품으로, 같은 영상부문 특별상(아트포인트회장상)에 엘사팀(이준수, 이나진, 2년)이 ‘The Star of the Stage, LG Signature!’라는 작품으로 수상했다. 이와 함께 3개 팀도 특선작을 받는 등 전시디자인 실력을 유감없이 발휘했다.
이지훈 인테리어디자인과 학과장(교수)은 “우리 계열은 탈지역형 취업전략’차원에서 ‘전시디자인반’을 의욕적으로 개설해 성공가도를 달리고 있다”면서 “인테리어 및 전시디자인분야에서 전국 최고, 명품 인재를 배출한다는 자부심으로 2022학년도부터 학제를 3년제로 개편, 현장 맞춤형 인재를 배출하는데 더욱 정성을 쏟을 각오”라고 밝혔다.
