경일대, 2022년도 대학일자리플러스센터 사업 선정

경일대학교(총장 정현태)가 2022년도 대학일자리플러스 센터 사업에 선정되어 재학·졸업생부터 지역 청년까지 취업 지원 나선다고 밝혔다.

대학일자리플러스센터는 고용노동부에서 시행하며 청년 접근성이 높은 대학을 선정해 취업 준비생들의 취업 역량 강화 및 진로탐색을 지원하는 사업으로 올해는 재학생 및 졸업생을 대상으로 진행된 기존의 대학일자리센터사업을 개선하여 2년 이내 졸업생과 지역 청년까지 확대하여 지원한다.

이 가운데 경일대는 2017년에 시범사업부터 올해 개선되어 시행되는 대학일자리플러스센터 사업까지 진로·취업 관련 국가 지원 사업에 5년 연속 참여하고 있다.

KIU 대학일자리플러스센터는 전문 자격을 갖춘 상담사를 배치하고, 경일대만의 차별화된 상생 기업지원 프로그램과 잡(JOB) 매니저의 취업지원 서비스, 진로 탐색 및 취업에 필요한 상담 서비스, 비교과 프로그램, 경력개발 프로그램, 취업매칭 등을 운영한다고 전했다.

정현태 총장은 “대학일자리플러스센터 선정은 2017년 대학일자리센터지원사업 선정 후 꾸준히 진로·취업 인프라를 구축하고 지원 프로그램을 개발해 온 덕분”이라며 “지원 영역이 지역 청년들로 확대되는 만큼 재학생 및 졸업생 뿐만 아니라 지역 청년들의 구직활동 지원에도 적극적으로 나서겠다”고 밝혔다.
