울진군 초경량 비행장치(드론) 실기시험장 본격 운영

울진군은 농업기술센터에 조성된 초경량 비행장치(드론) 실기시험장을 지난 15일부터 본격적인 운영하고 있다고 17일 밝혔다.

군은 지난해 10월 한국교통안전공단 공모사업에 선정된 이후, 완벽한 시험장 운영을 위해 응시자 대기실, 비행실, 화장실 등의 시설과 안전울타리, 조종석 안전막 등 안전시설을 조성하여 시험장 운영을 개시했다.

드론 조종자 자격증명은 최대이륙중량 250g을 초과하는 초경량 비행장치를 사용하고자 할 경우 반드시 취득해야 하는 자격으로, 시험 접수는 한국교통안전공단 홈페이지에서 가능하며, 울진군의 시험장은 매주 화·수요일에 운영될 예정이다.

이번 드론실기시험장 운영으로 그동안 먼 거리의 타지역 시험장을 이용해야 했던 지역민의 불편이 크게 해소될 것으로 보인다.
