아울러 임 예비후보는 “최근 중구청의 종합청렴도가 하락해 4등급을 받았는데, 이는 대구의 8개 기초단체 중 최하위 성적”이라고 지적하면서 “내가 중구청장이 되면 주민들로부터 신뢰받는 행정을 펼쳐 청렴도를 최상급으로 올려놓겠다.”고 강조했다.
