그동안 울진군은 전통적으로 송이를 더 많이 생산하기 위해 송이산 가꾸기 보조사업을 통하여 많은 예산과 노력을 기울여 왔으나, 이번 산불로 인해 울진군 전체 송이생산량의 70%를 차지하는 송이산이 피해를 입었다.
이에 군은 큰 시름에 잠겨있는 송이생산 농가의 피해회복을 돕고 다시 일어설 수 있도록 지원대책을 수립하고자 산불피해신고를 추진하게 되었다.
울진군산림조합 임산물유통센터(울진읍 울진북로 779-23, 송이공판장 2층)에서 신청이 가능하며, 최근 4년간 산림조합 송이생산량증명서, 송이거래내역(송장, 전표 등), 임대차계약서 사본, 기타 송이피해 증빙자료, 신분증 등 자신에게 해당되는 자료를 준비하여 신고서와 함께 제출하면 된다.
전찬걸 울진군수는 “피해 지역 송이농가들이 하루빨리 회복하여 생업에 돌아올 수 있도록 피해대책수립에 집중하고, 재난지원 대상에 빠져있는 송이피해농가가 실질적 도움을 받을 수 있는 방안을 정부에 적극 건의하여 국가예산지원 및 성금모금액이 송이농가에 배당이 되도록 최선의 노력을 기울이겠다”고 전했다.
