이주영 후보를 향한 경남 각계각층의 지지선언이 이어지고 있는 가운데, 서울에서도 지지선언 대열에 동참하고 있다고 이주영 캠프는 입장문을 통해 밝혔다.

이들은 명단을 공개하고 창원시장 시절부터 지켜본 박완수 의원은 공직자로서 책임감은 물론, 깨끗하고 청렴한 공직자의 표본이었다고 말하고, 박완수 의원은 윤석열 정부와 함께 위기의 경남을 다시 일으켜 세울 수 있는 도지사로서 가장 적임자 임을 믿어 의심치 않는다고 말했다.
