(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 ‘청소년의 달’을 맞이하여 청소년이 활동하기 유익한 환경을 조성하기 위해 청소년 유해환경 개선 활동을 전개한다.
이번 활동은 이달 9일부터 6월 3일까지 청소년지도위원(170명)과 청소년유해환경감시단(부천 YWCA 15명)이 합동으로 실시한다.
계절적으로 나들이와 유해환경에 더욱 노출될 수 있는 시기인 5월 청소년의 달을 맞이하여 생활 주변 및 번화가를 중심으로 청소년 보호법 위반행위 점검· 정화 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
주요 활동으로는 청소년보호법 위반 사례 예방을 위해 청소년 출입 및 고용 실태를 점검하고 청소년 유해 물품 판매 금지표시나 출입 고용 금지표시 미부착 업소 등을 방문하여 관련 리플릿을 배포하고 계도할 예정이다.
오동택 시 아동청소년과장은 “청소년 유해환경 개선 활동을 지속적으로 펼쳐 청소년이 안전하고 건전하게 성장할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”며 “청소년들의 유해환경 개선 활동에 앞장서 주신 청소년지도위원과 청소년유해환경감시단의 노고에 감사드린다”고 말했다.
한편, 부천시는 지난달 개학기를 맞아 관내 338개 업소를 지도·점검하고, 유해환경 개선 활동을 추진한 바 있다.
또한, 부천시자살예방센터가 부천근로자건강센터와 함께 지난 4월 28일부터 부천테크노파크 청·장년 근로자들을 위한 생명존중 문화조성 및 건전음주문화 캠페인을 진행했다.
이번 캠페인에선 청·장년 근로자들의 정신적 스트레스 해소 및 정서적 환기를 위한 ‘찾아가는 이동상담’, 음주습관, 알코올 위험 체질을 테스트할 수 있는 ‘건전 음주문화를 위한 알코올 바로 알기’, 직장인들 간 서로의 마음을 보듬어주는 ‘Wee로의 한마디’ 등 다양한 주제를 담은 활동이 진행됐다.
부천시자살예방센터는 점차 악화하는 청·장년층의 우울, 자살문제에 대응하기 위해 청·장년층을 위한 특성화 활동을 지속해나갈 예정이다.
