(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시 역곡도서관이 다가오는 6월 환경의 달을 기념하여 오는 6월 14일 오전 10시에 조천호 박사와 함께하는 온라인(zoom) 특강을 개최한다.
국립기상과학원에서 30년간 일하고 원장으로 퇴임한 조천호 박사는 현재는 ‘변화를 꿈꾸는 과학기술인 네트워크(ESC)’와 ‘기후위기 비상행동’ 연대기구에서 활동하고 있다.
저서로는 기후위기를 다룬 ‘파란하늘 빨간지구’가 있다.
강의에서는 인간으로 인해 일어난 기후위기와 그 심각성, 자연을 해치는 문명이 결국 인간을 해치며 모든 것을 바꿔놓을 것임을 논하고, 기후위기를 해결하기 위해 필요한 ‘담대한 전환’에 대해 강연할 예정이다.
이번 강의는 부천시민(성인) 100명을 대상으로 운영하며, 참여신청은 5월 17일(화) 10시부터 부천시립도서관 홈페이지, 전화, 현장접수의 방법으로 신청할 수 있다.

To commemorate the upcoming June Environment Month, Bucheon City Yeokgok Library will hold an online (zoom) special lecture with Dr. Cho Cheon-ho at 10 am on June 14.
Dr. Cho Cheon-ho, who worked at the National Academy of Meteorological Sciences for 30 years and retired as the president, is currently active in the 'Science and Technology Network (ESC) Dreaming of Change' and the 'Climate Crisis Emergency Action' solidarity organization.
His book 'Blue Sky Red Earth' dealt with the climate crisis.
The lecture will discuss the climate crisis caused by humans and its severity, and that civilization that harms nature will eventually harm humans and change everything.
This lecture is for 100 Bucheon citizens (adults), and applications for participation can be made through the Bucheon City Library website, phone, or on-site registration from 10:00 on May 17 (Tuesday).
