부천시, 문화콘텐츠 혁신 기업 몰려온다.

(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 지난 5월 공모에 들어간 문화콘텐츠 분야 혁신 스타트업(창업기업) 모집을 마감했다.

이번 공모는 창업 7년 이내 법인사업자를 대상으로 우수 기업을 발굴·유치하고 혁신 콘텐츠 기업으로 성장시켜 문화산업을 육성하는 사업이다.

접수된 공모 결과를 분류해 보면 관내 30곳, 서울시 59곳, 인천시 6곳, 그 외 지역 35곳 등 전국적으로 높은 관심 속에 많은 혁신기업이 참여했다.

부천시는 향후 일정에 따라 6월 중에 심사위원회를 열어 신청서와 사업계획서를 놓고 경영진 역량, 기술, 시장성, 사업성 및 수익성 등을 종합평가 한 후 스타트업 리그 참여기업을 선정할 계획이다.

부천 문화콘텐츠 스타트업 리그에 선정된 참여기업은 시와 업무협약을 체결하고 부천시로 본사(지사, 연구소)를 이전하며 또,  단계별 리그(평가)를 거쳐 총 2억5천만 원의 사업화 자금을 차등 지원받으며, 투자유치 지원과 내년 5월 개관 예정인 웹툰융합센터의 사무공간 입주 혜택 등이 제공된다.

심사위원회는 창업기업 컨설팅 전문가, 벤처투자 전문심사역, 관련 분야 교수 등 5인 이상으로 구성하고, 전체 위원의 100%를 외부전문가로 구성해 전문성과 공정성을 높이기로 했다.

오시명 문화경제국장은 “지속적으로 혁신 창업기업을 발굴·유치하여 상동 영상문화단지를 중심으로 춘의 테크노파크까지 청년 창업 밸트를 조성해 일자리와 지역경제 활력을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Bucheon City closed the recruitment of innovative start-ups (startup companies) in the cultural content field, which began public offerings in May.

This competition is a project to foster the cultural industry by discovering and attracting excellent companies targeting corporations within 7 years of their founding and growing them into innovative contents companies.

Classifying the results of the competition received, many innovative companies participated with high national interest, including 30 within the district, 59 in Seoul, 6 in Incheon, and 35 in other regions.

According to the future schedule, Bucheon City plans to hold a screening committee in June to select the start-up league participating companies after comprehensively evaluating management capabilities, technology, marketability, business feasibility and profitability, etc. based on the application form and business plan.

Participating companies selected for the Bucheon Cultural Content Startup League sign a business agreement with the city, relocate their headquarters (branch offices, research institutes) to Bucheon, and differentiate a total of 250 million won in commercialization funds through a staged league (evaluation). In addition, investment attraction support and benefits such as moving into the office space of the Webtoon Convergence Center scheduled to open in May of next year are provided.

The judging committee will be composed of at least five members, including startup business consulting experts, venture investment expert reviewers, and professors in related fields, and 100% of the total members will be external experts to enhance professionalism and fairness.

Oh Si-myung, director of the Culture and Economy Bureau, said, “We will continue to discover and attract innovative start-up companies to create a youth startup belt from Sangdong Video Culture Complex to Chunui Techno Park to create jobs and revitalize the local economy.”
