[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도산림환경연구원과 사단법인 경남생명의숲은 10일 오전 11시 정부의 ‘2050 탄소중립 선언’ 이후 산림(숲)의 역할이 강조되고 탄소중립 실현을 위한 기후위기와 숲 교육의 중요성이 증대됨에 따라 산림환경 보전과 숲 교육 등의 활성화를 위해 업무협약을 체결했다.

업무협약 주요 내용은 ▲산림환경 보전 및 숲 교육, 홍보 등 활성화에 관한 정보 교류 ▲탄소중립, 기후변화 관련 지원에 관한 사항 ▲경남도민을 위한 지역 현안 관련 공동 프로그램 개발 및 수행 ▲보유시설의 상호 이용 등이다.
