세종시의회, 정책지원관 3명 임용장 수여

세종시의회는 20일 신규 채용된 정책지원관 3명에게 임용장을 수여했다.

이번 임용장 수여는 지난 4월 7일 임기제공무원 임용시험 시행계획 공고를 시작으로 서류전형과 면접시험을 거쳐 최종 합격자를 선발한 데 따른 것이다.

신규 임용되는 정책지원관은 일반임기제 6급 상당 공무원으로 조례 제?개정, 폐지 등 입법활동과 행정사무 감사?조사, 서류제출 요구 관련 자료수집?분석 등 의정 지원업무를 맡게 된다.

시의회는 정책지원관의 전문성과 실무 역량 강화를 위해 오는 21일 자체 직무 교육을 실시한 후 27일부터 30일까지 4일간 지방자치인재개발원이 주관하는 ‘정책지원관 기본과정’을 실시간 온라인 교육 방식으로 진행할 예정이다.

이태환 의장은 “지방자치법 개정으로 전문지식을 가진 유능한 인재들이 의정활동 지원을 하게 된 만큼 의회의 전문성이 더욱 높아질 것으로 기대된다”면서 “제4대 의회 의원들이 효율적인 의정활동을 펼칠 수 있도록 맡은 바 업무에 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
