법무보호위원 보호복지위원회 최대현 부회장은 7월 6일 한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부(지부장 이재영)에 법무보호대상자 취업격려금으로 사용할 상품권 300만원을 기부하였다.
최대현 부회장이 기탁한 300만원 상당의 상품권은 취업에 성공하여 안정적인 사회복귀를 위해 노력하고 있는 법무보호대상자들의 취업성공 격려금으로 사용될 예정이다.

해당 기부금은 취업성공에 대한 격려금인 만큼 취업에 성공한 보호대상자들의 근속을 격려하며 아직 취업준비 중인 법무보호대상자들에게 있어서 더 적극적인 구직활동의 계기로도 작용할 것으로 기대된다.
최대현 부회장은 “법무보호사업의 목적은 법무보호대상자들의 안정적인 사회복귀이며 이를 위해서는 경제활동이 필수적으로 뒷받침되어야하고 보호대상자들의 더 적극적인 구직활동과 취업을 격려할 수 있도록 노력할 필요성이 있다”고 소감을 전했다. [박정호 기자]
