파주시는 오는 10월까지 소외계층과 함께하는 ‘2022 찾아가는 문화활동’을 진행한다고 밝혔다.
‘찾아가는 문화활동’은 문화예술 수혜의 불균형을 해소하기 위해 복지시설, 소규모 학교 등 문화소외 계층을 직접 찾아가 공연하는 사업으로, 그동안 코로나19로 비대면 공연이 이뤄졌으나, 거리두기가 해제된 올해는 복지시설, 군부대, 전통시장 등 약 30개 시설에서 공연을 진행한다.

이번 사업은 각계 기관 및 사업장과 연계해 지난 4월부터 실시하고 있으며, 공개모집을 통해 선정된 전통예술단 호연, 임진강예술단 등 20개 단체가 국악, 클래식 음악, 연극, 비보이, 북한 문화예술 등 다양한 공연을 선보일 예정이다.
주요 일정으로는 ▲7월, 3653부대 댄스, 1사단 마술쇼 ▲8월, 25사단 무용, 경기세무고등학교 춤 ▲9월, 1767부대 오페라, 장애인시설 도란도란 인디록 밴드 공연 ▲10월, 용연초등학교 전통예술 공연 등이 예정돼 있다.

공연에 참여하는 한 단체 회원은 “소외계층을 찾아가는 문화공연은 예술인들에게도 많은 보람과 기쁨을 얻게 되는 큰 의미가 있다”고 전했다.
