[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 함양약초과학관에서 15일부터 10월까지 13회 가량 ‘약용정원 힐링체험’을 운영한다.
이번 약용정원 힐링체험은 일상속에서 자주 접하지만 다소 생소하게 느껴지는 약용식물을 알리고, 현장에서 직접 체험하며 약용식물에 대한 관심도를 높이고 익숙하게 다가갈 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.
체험은 어린이집, 초등학교생을 대상으로 체험을 시작하고 점차 대상과 연령대를 넓혀갈 계획이며 1차 체험은 약용정원에서 채취한 식물로 누름 건조 액자만들기, 과학관 내 견학 등으로 진행될 예정이다.
이후 월별 테마가 있는 체험으로 구성해 8월에는 약용식물 천연비누 만들기, 9월은 약용식물 누름꽃 액자 만들기, 10월에는 약용열매 오미자, 으름덩굴을 활용한 푸드테라피 등으로 운영할 계획이다.
함양군 안의면에 위치한 함양약초과학관 내 정원에는 계절별로 다양한 약용식물을 만나 볼 수 있다.
7월부터 삼백초, 애기달맞이꽃을 시작으로 범부채, 박하, 감국 등 10월까지 다양한 약용 꽃들로 아름다움을 뽐내고 있다.
