[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 구인모 거창군수가 전북 무주군 태권도원에서 열린 제12차 전국농어촌지역군수협의회 정기총회에서 제5대 부회장으로 선출됐다.
구인모 군수는 전국농어촌지역군수협의회 제4대 부회장에 이어 제5대 부회장으로 선출되어 농어촌 발전과 주민들의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 활동하게 됐다.
전국농어촌지역군수협의회 제5대 회장단에는 회장에 김주수 경북 의성군수, 부회장 김돈곤 충남 청양군수, 이상익 전남 함평군수가 선출됐으며, 감사는 황인홍 전북 무주군수와 최승준 강원 정선군수가 맡는다.
전국농어촌지역군수협의회는 농어촌지역의 경쟁력 강화와 공동발전 방향 모색을 위해 2012년 출범했으며, 전국 농어촌지역 74개 군이 참여하고 있다.
농어촌간 교류와 협력 증진을 비롯해 농축수산물 선물가액 상향, 지방재정 분권 및 고향사랑 기부금법 제정 촉구 등 농어촌 현안과 관련된 정책을 중앙정부에 건의하는 등 활발한 활동을 하고 있다.
