[브레이크뉴스=김희수 기자] 창녕군 스스로 집짓기 학교는 24일 구.현창분교에서 제9기 입학식을 개최했다.
연 2회 운영하는 스스로 집짓기 학교는 지난 3월 상반기 교실이 운영됐으며, 하반기는 24일부터 11월 12일까지 매주 토요일 진행된다.
수강료 일부를 군에서 지원해 수강생들은 큰 부담 없이 교육을 받을 수 있다.
건축 스케치 도면 작성요령 등 이론교육과 터 닦기, 기초공사, 단열공사, 지붕공사 등 실전교육까지 집짓기 전 과정에 수강생들이 직접 참여해 배운다.
또한, 스스로 집짓기 학교의 선배기수들이 직접 건축한 집을 둘러보며 현장감각을 익히고, 선배들의 경험담을 들을 수 있는 기회도 제공된다.
군 관계자는 “저비용으로 원하는 집을 스스로 짓는다는 건 대단한 일이다. 제2의 인생을 시작하며 안정적으로 창녕에 정착하는 데 도움이 되기를 바란다. 전국 최고 수준의 귀농정책과 사통팔달의 교통망을 가진 창녕으로 오신 것을 환영한다”고 말했다.
스스로 집짓기 학교는 집짓기 과정뿐 아니라 귀농교육을 병행하고 있으며, 수료 시 60시간의 귀농 교육시간을 인정받을 수 있다.
